Ask The Retoucher #44 - Photo Restoration Part III

In this 44th article of Ask the Retoucher, Eric of Photo Grafix continues on his mission to restore a unique copy photo of martial arts legend Grandmaster Moses Powell.

The next step in the process is to clean up the spots and dust.

1. Switch to RGB color and Duplicate the Background Layer.
2. Choose a Grid (View/Show/Grid) to help you work in a methodical way.
3. Using the Clone Stamp and the Healing Brush, clean up the spots.
4. Zoom in and out to see the before and after to make sure you have removed all the spots.
