Genealogy Workshop in Evanston (With some photo restoration topics)!

Join me at the African American History and Genealogy Study Group of Evanston and Shorefront for a great conferenced about "Learning From The Past" Saturday, November, 6 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. See the details at the Shorefront Legacy Center here.

I'm scheduled to teach a workshop about preserving your documents and pictures. We also plan to have onsite photo restoration, videos, books and our course for sale. We're past due for registration, but if you give them a call at 847-864-7464, they might be able to accommodate you.

All Events are held at the Shorefront Legacy Center, 2010 Dewey Avenue, Room 206, Evanston, IL (the Family Focus Building/former Foster School). Here's a map.

The Legacy Center is a brand new museum that collects, preserves and educates people about Black history on Chicago's North Shore. Call 847-864-7467 to schedule a visit or research session.
