Retouching For The Next Generation

This past July, I had the honor to teach various groups of children at the Warren-Sharpe Community Center Summer Camp about photo retouching in the real world. That is, how to use Photoshop to market ideas and provoke reactions.

The children loved the class. I assigned a few the job of photographer, models and art director. Of course, I was the retoucher (smile). They answered critical questions and offered some hilarious suggestions.

My visit was coordinated and hosted by a wonderful teacher and public servant, Mrs. Janell Gavin. Below are more fantastic, albeit crude, illustrations.
