The Purple Elephant stumbled on the easy-to-read GenealogyBlog with lots of regular updates about genealogy and those involved. I was sad to read about the demise of Sandra Hargreaves Luebking.

Our Purple Pachyderm also found a site called Free Genealogy Tools. It doesn't appear to be updated too often. However, it has a decent breakdown of various free online genealogy tools. It seems the moderator didn't care for my addition of a comment sharing the free Google Picnik photo editor and the PGXU Free do-it-yourself photo restoration videos.
