Finally!
For the past 10 years, I've been working my way up the speaker's ladder to teach at a national genealogy conference.
Thanks to a good word from the mighty Illinois State Genealogical Society, I am scheduled to present three workshops for the Federation of Genealogical Society's Annual Conference (Springfield, IL USA) September 7-10, 2011:
- Fixing Faded Color Photos with Adobe Photoshop, Friday, 5:00pm-6:00pm, F-348
- Photo Restoration From Start to Finish Demonstration, Saturday, 8:00am-9:00am, S-400
- Restoring Documents With Your Computer, Thursday, 11:00am-12:00pm, T-204
Whether you're new to genealogy or a seasoned family history researcher, this is a great conference to attend. If you live the region, it's a straight hop on Amtrak or interstate (Be careful, as Amtrak is having some construction work, so you might be delayed).
As an added treat, Photo Grafix University will be present in the Exhibit Hall in booth 607, right next to the awesome Fun Stuff For Genealogists store.
There's more! Download this Photo Grafix Purple Elephant COUPON for $10 off any purchase of my fun Photo Restoration and Retouching Foundations course or video tutorials. There's a catch: This coupon is only good for the the FGS conference and you must bring it in person. Click on the coupon image or link and use your browser's print button for your copy.
Please support the great work of the Federation of Genealogical Societies with your donations.
