Photo Restoration and Scanning Classes at Elk Grove Village Public Library

I have two questions for you: Do you want to learn more about scanning photos and restoring photos? Do you live in the vicinity of the Elk Grove Village Public Library?

If so, mark off Thursday, April 4 and April 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. Then register for one or both dates on the Elk Grove Village Public Library website.

On April 4, we have Complete Photo Restoration: I plan to show you how to scan, restore and print a photo like the pros from beginning to end at this beginner level session. Audience members are encouraged to bring photos for this demonstration.

On April 18, we have Scanning 101: We discuss and demonstrate how to choose a scanner with the right features. I will then explain techniques for scanning various types of originals such as prints, negatives and over-sized originals. Audience members are encouraged to bring originals for the intermediate level session.
